The Regeti's !

Srinu and Amy Regeti have four children and reside in the Town of Warrenton Virginia. Being parents they say has given them so much insight on how quickly a moment can surpass even the most vigilant person within the blink of an eye. Amy having been brought up in a family where wedding photography was a big part of their lives and Srinu having received his first camera when a he was a small boy from a trip his father had taken to Russia, he then began capturing landscape & portraits. These two styles combined turned the two of them into self-taught artists. Shortly after their youngest daughter was born they began covering small events that have lead them where they are today.

This featured Nightline ABC talented husband and wife team have become globally well known for their sense of style and imagery. Having been internationally published and recognized among the industry and their peers for trendsetting and as portrait specialists, their unique style of documentary coverage combined with contemporary portraiture is sought after by many near and far. They have a full service studio located in the quaint historic Town of Warrenton located in Virginia right along the outskirts of Washington DC.

Anjali and Sunil

Although they tried to put off their session we lured them in any way, scared them by frost bite, and very happy that we did! I don’t think even in Bollywood that there is currently a hotter couple than Anjali and Sunil! As we spent a little time roaming the town of Warrenton with the two of them this past weekend we totally enjoyed learning all about how they met and how their planning process is coming along. When you get down to it, it’s amazing to see how little the world truly is and who knows who! Anjali and Sunil we are totally excited to be photographing your wedding in April!

Campbell, Carrie, and Jim

Congrats to our bride and groom of this past January! Carrie and Jim have a beautiful 6 week old adorable baby girl named “Campbell” who is just as squeezable in real as she is in these photos. The greatest part of our job is the fact that we get to watch our couples and their little ones grow!

Going to the Chapel and we’re gonna get married! Mikel and David wed!

As we arrived to this private residence in St. Micheals, Maryland (Easton) we were greeted by Amaryllis’ beautiful arrangements perched upon the entrance columns sending chills down your spine with suspense that something wonderful was going to take place, very soon. We pulled up to the house as Rick’s (Amaryllis) team was very busily making final preparations within this tiny beautiful Chapel that had been constructed in every perfect way possible from the lighting to location. Mikel did not miss a beat with the details regardless of how short her notice was for planning the grandest day of the beginning of their lives. Right down to the little high heel shoe protectors!

Organic and pure are these two in it’s most richest truest form of the very words. Mikel and I hit it off almost immediately over the phone and needless to say we are certainly happy that her and David decided to use us as their wedding photographers. Not only did we get some great shots, but we love being part of events that are so real. Real in the sense that the couple never loses touch with what truly matters and that in the end is family. It is unmistakable to see how in love these two truly are… as Mikel look’s up to David and gets this joyous and inibreated in love look about her. While David’s love for her shows through his touch and glance towards Mikel, whether it is from across the room or while his hand is on her hip, they are both completely contagious to everyone around them.

When Mikel contacted me literally 2 weeks back for their wedding date of Nov. 1st I wasn’t sure whether or not she was serious… within 24 hours she had made her deposit and sent over her contract and that was when we realized it was definitely happening. That Sunday itself we did a site visit to walk through the course of events, possible back up plans and to talk about what was important to them to have captured on this most important day. This is a couple and a family in which family is everything to them, judging by the photos you can see how genuinely they all love each other, this family has not only melted, but has blended together so well that you can’t tell who is who. We are honored that we were present to document history in the making between this dynamic duo…

Mikel, David, and children we wish you all so much love and happiness that one family can possibly endure. We can’t wait to watch everyone grow!

Happy Halloween!

As the Regeti’s resume their normal posting schedule, Happy Halloween to everyone! We hope that you had as much fun as we did. Ben and Jess (Our Associate Team, more about them this upcoming week!) came over and we rocked the candy bags! Oh, do I remember being a kid and my parents giving me the routine quote of “We have to check your bags to make sure that no one put anything bad in them.” Yeah right, goodness we were SUCKERS! Now history has a way of repeating itself as I steal the Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and Jess’ steals some Nerds! What fun would Halloween truly be if traditions were not carried on ;-)

For the first time this year all the kids were able to pick their costumes with only one rule to be applied, okay well two:

(1.) Nothing violent or with lethal weapons.
(2.) Nothing gory or that involves blood and guts.

I think we did a fine job as eveyone picked their own individual characters. The funnest part is searching the blog for our past “Halloween” (enter this into the search) photos and seeing how much they have grown and are becoming independent individuals. That in itself is scary and I say “Boo!”.
